Airmar B175H Transducer CHIRP 0° Thru-Hull
Overview
Built for serious anglers running center consoles and small to mid-size boats who need a compact, high-frequency transducer that doesn't sacrifice performance. If you're targeting structure—wrecks, reefs, rocky points—and want to separate individual fish from baitballs, this is your transducer.
The B175H is a thru-hull CHIRP transducer built for shallow to mid-depth water where high frequency shines. It runs 130 to 210 kHz with 80 kHz of total bandwidth from a single installation, giving you crisp bottom detail and excellent target separation on the Garmin unit already on your boat. The tilted-element design corrects for hull deadrise automatically, so you get accurate readings whether you're running 0°, 12°, or 20° deadrise without hunting for the sweet spot.
Key Features
- High-Frequency CHIRP (130–210 kHz) — transmits across an 80 kHz bandwidth in one installation — you get superior shallow-water bottom detail and pinpoint fish holding on wrecks and structure without switching frequencies.
- Narrow Beamwidth (10° to 6°) — focuses your sonar cone tight, cutting clutter and isolating individual fish from schools and baitfish schools — critical when you're working tight structure.
- Tilted Element Design — the ceramic element sits at a fixed angle inside the housing that matches your hull's deadrise — ensures maximum echo return and horizontal orientation without guesswork, so your readings are accurate from the first install.
- 1 kW Power, 1000' Max Depth — punches through to 304 meters with enough power for reliable returns on structure in deep water, then pulls back for precision in shallows.
- Depth and Water Temperature — built-in sensors give you two pieces of critical data without a separate temperature probe, saving install complexity and money.
- Bronze Thru-Hull Housing — designed for fiberglass and wood hulls; low-profile design sits nearly flush to the hull for clean hydrodynamics and stable readings at speed.
Specs & What's Included
Compatibility: Garmin 8-Pin CHIRP transducer connector. This transducer is compatible with current-generation Garmin fish finders and chartplotters that support 8-pin CHIRP transducers. Not sure if this works with your setup? Call or text us at (833) 831-4077 — we'll tell you straight.
Installation: Hole size requirement is 95 mm (3-3/4") for fiberglass or wood hull. Usable shaft length is 71 mm (2.80"). Maximum deadrise angle is 24°. Suitable for boats up to 36 feet. Also available in stainless steel (SS175H) for aluminum or steel hulls.
In the Box: B175H transducer with 8-pin Garmin connector cable. Mounting bracket and installation hardware sold separately if not included with your Garmin display unit.
