Returns & Cancellations

30-Day Return Window

We stand behind every product we sell. If something isn't right — wrong item, changed your mind, didn't fit your setup — we'll make it easy to return within 30 days of delivery.

To start a return, email support@depthsource.com with your order number and a brief description of the reason. We'll respond within one business day with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions. Returns sent without an RMA number cannot be accepted.

Condition Requirements

To receive a full refund, returned items must be:

  • In original, unopened or like-new condition
  • Complete with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation
  • Free of signs of installation, use, or wear

Items returned with evidence of installation or use, missing components, or damaged packaging may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%, or may not be eligible for return.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

  • Cartography cards, chart chips, or pre-loaded mapping products (once packaging is opened)
  • Software, DVDs, or CDs that have been unsealed
  • Special-order or non-stock items
  • Used or pre-owned equipment

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect. We strongly recommend using a trackable, insured shipping method — we can't process a refund for items lost in transit.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we'll process your refund within 3–5 business days to your original payment method. You'll receive an email confirmation when it's done.


Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or you received the wrong product, contact us at support@depthsource.com on the day of delivery. Include your order number and clear photos of the damage or incorrect item. We'll cover all shipping costs and get the right product to you as fast as possible.

If you're signing for a delivery and notice visible damage to the packaging, note it on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves. That documentation helps us resolve claims faster.


Warranty Claims

Most marine electronics carry manufacturer warranties ranging from 1 to 3 years. All products sold by Depth Source are sourced through authorized US distributors, ensuring your purchase is genuine and warranty-eligible. Warranty service is handled directly by the manufacturer.

Cancellations

Need to cancel? Contact us immediately by phone at (833) 831-4077 or email sales@depthsource.com.

  • Orders canceled before shipment receive a full refund, no questions asked.
  • Orders canceled after shipment are subject to the 30-day return policy and return shipping costs.

Marine electronics ship fast — often same day — so the sooner you reach us, the better.
