Airmar B175H Transducer Bronze 20° Thru-Hull CHIRP
Overview
Built for serious anglers running center consoles and smaller boats who need pinpoint structure detection without the bulk. If you're fishing tight to reefs, wrecks, and hard bottom—and you want to see individual baitfish and gamefish in a school—this transducer is built for that mission.
The B175H is a high-frequency CHIRP transducer that mounts flush to your fiberglass or wood hull and delivers exceptional shallow-water detail and fish separation. One installation gives you 80 kHz of total bandwidth across 130–210 kHz, meaning you get multiple sonar frequencies working together in a single transducer. The tilted element design corrects for your hull's deadrise automatically, so your sonar cone stays level and your echoes come back strong—even on a stepped or planing hull.
Key Features
- High-Frequency CHIRP (130–210 kHz) — transmits multiple frequencies simultaneously in one transducer — you get superior shallow-water performance, tight bottom detail, and the ability to separate individual fish in a school at a glance.
- Narrow Beamwidth (10° to 6°) — focuses the sonar cone tightly on structure and fish — you'll pinpoint fish holding tight to wrecks and reefs instead of guessing which part of the structure they're using.
- 80 kHz of Total Bandwidth — gives you all the frequency flexibility of a dual-frequency unit in a single installation — no second transducer to install or troubleshoot.
- Tilted Element Design — the ceramic element is fixed at a 20° angle inside the housing to automatically correct for hull deadrise — your sonar cone stays level and efficient, even on stepped or planing hulls up to 24° deadrise.
- Low-Profile Thru-Hull Housing — mounts almost flush to the hull for clean aesthetics and good sonar display resolution at speed — minimal drag and no bulky transducer extending below your running surface.
- 1 kW Power with 1,000-Foot Maximum Depth — strong signal penetration for offshore and deep-water work, with responsive performance in shallow water too.
- Depth and Water Temperature Sensing — real-time temperature and depth data help you find the thermocline and thermal break structure where fish suspend.
