Overview

Built for center-console and trailered boat owners running up to 26 feet who need reliable depth and temperature data without fuss. The B60 is purpose-built for hulls with deadrise angles up to 24 degrees—common on modern fishing boats—where standard transducers lose accuracy or miss readings entirely.

This is a 600-watt dual-frequency transducer that sits nearly flush with your hull and uses Airmar's Tilted Element design to correct for your hull's angle automatically. That means you get clean, accurate depth readings and water temperature on your first pass, not after trial and error with transducer angles. It's simple, proven, and built for boats that work.

Key Features

  • Tilted Element Design — the ceramic element is fixed at 12 degrees inside the housing, which automatically compensates for hull deadrise when installed nearly flush — you get true vertical sonar even on boats with significant V-shaped hulls, eliminating the blind spots caused by misaligned transducers.
  • Dual Frequency (50/200 kHz) — 50 kHz provides a wide 45-degree cone for mapping structure and bottom composition down to 1,200 feet; 200 kHz narrows the beam to 12 degrees for high-resolution detail in shallower water to 700 feet — switch frequencies to match your depth and target behavior.
  • 600 Watts of Power — delivers strong signal return even in deep, cold, or turbid water where weaker transducers fade out — critical if you fish offshore or in lakes with poor clarity.
  • Low-Profile Bronze Housing — extends only 5/16 inch outside the hull, which means zero hydrodynamic drag and no effect on your boat's speed or fuel economy — you won't feel this transducer is there.
  • Depth and Water Temperature Sensing — real-time temperature readout helps you identify thermal layers and follow seasonal fish movements without additional sensors.

Specs & What's Included

Compatibility: Works with any chartplotter or fishfinder that accepts a 50/200 kHz dual-frequency transducer input. Bronze housing is designed for fiberglass or wood hulls; if you're running an aluminum, steel, or composite hull, the stainless steel version (SS60) is required. Maximum deadrise angle is 24 degrees. Not sure if this works with your setup? Call or text us at (833) 831-4077 — we'll tell you straight.

In the Box: B60 transducer with bronze housing and 60 mm mounting hole. Transducer cable is sold separately—you'll need to order the specific cable length and connector type that matches your display unit. Usable shaft length is 2.70 inches; mounting hole diameter is 2-3/8 inches.
