The B175HW is a wide-beam, high-frequency transducer that gives you twice the coverage of a standard narrow-beam unit without sacrificing bottom detail or fish separation. It runs across a full 100 kHz bandwidth and handles CHIRP technology, which means your sonar will punch through clutter and show you cleaner fish marks. Install it thru-hull on a fiberglass or wood hull with deadrise up to 24 degrees, and you'll get reliable depth and temperature data down to 500 feet.
