Airmar DST810 Smart Multisensor NMEA 2000 Transducer
Overview
Built for serious anglers and boaters running NMEA 2000 networks who need accurate speed-through-water data alongside depth and temperature — especially those who fish variable conditions where heel angle throws off your calibration. If you're tired of speed readouts that lag or hunt, and you want boat attitude data without a separate instrument, this is your transducer.
The DST810 Smart Multisensor combines depth, water temperature, speed-through-water, and integrated heel/trim sensing in one bronze housing. The Gen2 paddlewheel wakes up at 0.3 knots and stays linear all the way to 45 knots, delivering speed data five times per second for smooth, responsive readouts. The wireless CAST app lets you calibrate speed from your phone — including advanced heel-compensated calibration that used to require expensive PC software.
Key Features
- Gen2 Paddlewheel Speed Sensor — responds to movement below 0.3 knots and maintains accuracy through 45 knots — you'll get clean speed data in slow-trolling conditions and high-speed runs without hunting or lag.
- 5.7 Hz Speed Output (5 times per second) — delivers noticeably smoother speed-through-water display and faster data refresh for real-time decision-making when you're adjusting trolling speed or marking your drift.
- Integrated Attitude Sensor — measures heel and trim angles — essential for heel-compensated speed calibration so your speed readings stay true even when your boat is heeled in a turn.
- CAST Wireless Calibration App — calibrate speed directly from your phone using simple, intuitive interface — eliminates the need for PC software and lets you run multiple heel-angle calibrations across your entire speed range right on the water.
- Depth, Water Temperature, and Boat Attitude Data — four data streams from one transducer on your NMEA 2000 network — cleaner install, fewer thru-hulls.
Specs & What's Included
Compatibility: NMEA 2000 network systems only. This transducer requires an N2K backbone and compatible display (chartplotter, fish finder, or multifunction display). The CAST app works via wireless connectivity to your smartphone for calibration setup. Not sure if this works with your setup? Call or text us at (833) 831-4077 — we'll tell you straight.
