Airmar B275LH-W Transducer CHIRP Wide-Beam Garmin
Overview
Built for serious inshore and offshore anglers who need high-resolution target separation in shallow to mid-depth water, plus the range to explore deeper structures. Whether you're running a center console on the coast or a bay boat in estuaries, this transducer delivers dual-frequency CHIRP performance with a standout feature: a constant 25° wide beam on high frequency that gives you twice the coverage under the boat compared to narrow-beam alternatives.
The B275LH-W is a thru-hull CHIRP transducer that runs both low and high frequencies from a single housing. It covers 42 to 65 kHz on low (down to 3,000 feet) and 150 to 250 kHz on high (down to 500 feet), giving you 123 kHz of total bandwidth to work with. The wide-beam high frequency is the real difference—you'll see fish in the upper water column that a narrow-beam unit would miss, and you get superior bottom detail and target separation when you need to pick apart hard structure. Bronze construction with a performance fairing means you won't lose signal even when you're running at speed.
Key Features
- CHIRP Dual-Band (Low and High) — operates across 42–250 kHz with 123 kHz of total bandwidth — lets you switch between frequencies on the fly to match water conditions and target depth without changing transducers.
- High-Frequency Wide Beam (150–250 kHz, constant 25°) — delivers twice the coverage in shallow to mid-depth water compared to narrow-beam high-frequency transducers — you'll detect suspended fish and baitfish in the upper column that matter for your presentation.
- Low-Frequency Performance (42–65 kHz, 1 kW power) — reaches down to 3,000 feet with strong sonar signal — essential if you're fishing deep structures or pelagic species in open water.
- Superior Shallow-Water Resolution (150–250 kHz on high) — tight frequency range delivers crisp bottom detail and precise fish-target separation — you'll distinguish a brush pile from a ledge, and single fish from a school.
- High-Performance Fairing — bronze housing with optimized fairing maintains signal clarity at speeds over 30 knots — you won't see performance drop when you're running to a new mark.
- Fast-Response Temperature Sensor — built-in water-temperature reading updates quickly — helps you identify temperature breaks and match your seasonal patterns.
- Xducer ID Technology — automatic transducer recognition — simplifies installation and keeps your Garmin unit configured correctly without manual setup.
