Airmar R111-LH Transducer CHIRP In-Hull Bare Wire
Overview
Built for serious inshore and offshore anglers who demand precision sonar detail without compromise. Whether you're working deep-water structure, canyon walls, or shallow grass flats, you need one transducer that covers it all — and handles the frequency range your fish finder demands.
The Airmar R111-LH CHIRP in-hull transducer gives you dual-frequency broadband sonar in a single installation. It chirps across 117 kHz of total bandwidth — covering the popular 38, 50, and 200 kHz frequencies your electronics expect, plus everything in between. That means 5 to 10 times greater detail and resolution than traditional single-frequency transducers. You'll distinguish individual baitfish from game fish, see bottom composition clearly, and track structure from the surface to 10,000 feet. One transducer does the work of two, saving you money and installation headaches.
Key Features
- Dual-frequency CHIRP technology — combines low (38–75 kHz) and high (130–210 kHz) frequencies in one unit — eliminates the need for multiple transducers and gives you coverage from shallow panfish to deep-water offshore species.
- 117 kHz of total bandwidth — covers all standard fishing frequencies (38, 50, 200 kHz) and continuously sweeps between them — you get the detail of custom frequencies without the guesswork.
- 5 to 10x greater resolution than conventional transducers — distinguishes individual fish, baitfish schools, and structure with photographic clarity — see what's actually below your boat instead of guessing.
- Maximum depth capability to 10,000 feet — handles deep-water canyon tracking and seamount work — critical if you chase structure beyond continental shelf depths.
- Variable beam width — low frequency 19° to 10°, high frequency 8° to 4° — wider coverage at depth on low frequency, pinpoint detail on structure and suspended fish with high frequency.
- Built-in temperature sensor — fast-response water temp reading — helps you track seasonal patterns and adjust your fishing strategy in real time.
- Exclusive Xducer ID technology — automatic transducer recognition — your fish finder knows exactly what you've installed and optimizes sonar output accordingly.
Specs & What's Included
Installation & Compatibility: In-hull installation into solid fiberglass hulls only. Accepts hull deadrise from 0° to 22°. Uses epoxy/urethane acoustic window. Confirm your fish finder supports CHIRP broadband sonar — most modern Garmin, Lowrance, and Simrad units do, but call us at (833) 831-4077 if you're not certain your system is compatible.
In the Box: R111-LH transducer assembly, all mounting hardware, and installation tank. Bare wire configuration — you'll connect directly to your fish finder's transducer cable. Cable and connector sold separately; your fish finder manufacturer specifies the connector type you need.
