Airmar B117 Transducer Bronze 0° Depth Temperature
Overview
Built for anglers running center consoles and trailered boats 25 feet and up who need reliable depth and water temperature data without the complexity of full sonar imaging. This is your transducer if you want to know what's under the boat — bottom composition, structure, and temps — on a straightforward single display.
The B117 is a low-profile in-hull transducer that does one job well: delivers accurate depth and temperature to compatible Airmar displays. The nearly-flush 0° mounting angle minimizes drag while the dual-frequency 50/200 kHz design gives you options depending on water depth and bottom type. You get clean numbers on the screen without overcomplicating your electronics package.
Key Features
- Dual-Frequency 50/200 kHz — switches between frequencies so you can read shallow structure and bottom detail at 200 kHz, then punch deeper to 1,200 feet on the 50 kHz band when you're working offshore or deep holes.
- Low-Profile Housing — extends only 5 mm (3/16") outside the hull, cutting drag and protecting the transducer from impact in tight quarters or rough water.
- Bronze Housing — corrosion-resistant construction built to handle saltwater and brackish environments where aluminum would fail.
- 10-Meter Cable — 33 feet of reach lets you run the transducer from the gunwale or transom to displays mounted inside the console without adding extra conduit.
- 600 W RMS Power — enough signal strength to cut through thermoclines, suspended sediment, and noise so you get clean bottom readings even in tough water.
Specs & What's Included
Compatibility: Designed specifically for Airmar CP370 and DSM300 displays with Ray connector architecture. Not sure if this works with your setup? Call or text us at (833) 831-4077 — we'll tell you straight.
Technical Specs: Maximum depth range reaches 800–1,200 feet on 50 kHz and 400–700 feet on 200 kHz. Cone angles are 45° at 50 kHz for wider coverage in deep water, and 12° at 200 kHz for tight, detailed readings. Usable shaft length is 66.5 mm (2.62"), with a 66.5 mm replacement nut (405) available separately.
Ideal For: Center-console and trailered boats 25 feet and larger. Mounted in-hull at 0° for minimal drag.
